…You can make real and radical change

Let’s reimagine and work towards a world we can all be proud of - Being good ancestors and leaving the legacy for future generations.

…you can have solidarity in a safer space

As we welcome people from different journeys into our space, we ask folks to show up in community.

Connect and chat using our member’s platform and in monthly Zoom meetings. All of our member’s meetings are BSL interpreted.

…you can learn, laugh and be yourself

We do it our way, we laugh, we cry, drawing on our roots, heritage and practices that support us from music to breathing spaces in all our meetings and events. We make it our own.

You will be valued and respected

Our pro-Black movement centres intersectionality and disability justice. Every meeting and event is grounded by our Community Guidelines.

Jake Ferguson

“Baobab is all about making ‘By Us, For Us’ a reality for Black and Global Majority Communities in the UK.”

“Being part of Baobab has taught me a lot about how things can be done differently and how equity in the funding landscape is a key component of a fairer society.”
